How to say 6 greetings in Polish language

What first words do you say to the person you meet?

Poles can choose many ways to greet people they meet in various situations. Some of them are  more useful than the others.

I present you 6 most known words that are suitable for us.

Cześć! – Hello! – to your friend (przyjaciel)

Dzień Dobry – Good morning / afternoon (more official)

Dobry wieczór – Good evening

We have more non official greetings but that’s the base.

You can say to your friends:

Jak się masz?  =   Co u Ciebie? –  How are you?

Sie ma! – it’s useful among close friends or playful
